The account given herewith derives from the 9 year long monitoring Program of a plant originally intended to dispose of rain-water to 3 seepage wells. Sequences of water column and bottom temperature values have been collected every 5 minutes by the 3 data loggers. Inside the building overlooking a seepage well, two recording fissure-metres have been taking hourly readings. The thermo-hydraulic data-base now consists of 3×10^6 records. Data sequences have been filtered and processed by suitably designed algorithms. Plant response to rainstorms has been quantified, the well thermo-hydraulics has been modeled. Water seepage has been shown to cause building deformation. Evidence came from an accident: a water circulation plant ran out of control and sent 800 cubic metres of water to a well in 47 days. The fissure meter inside the building above the well showed a delayed response by the structure. The monitoring scheme is portable to other Programmes which manage water resources
