Abstract
Biodiversity performance is increasingly attracting attention by businesses and organizations in all industries around the world. Some studies analyzed biodiversity issues by using samples of large listed companies while very few studies investigated SMEs practices to analyze their innovative engagement to protect biodiversity. Our analysis focuses on two small companies. These two case studies were selected because their production impacts in the same territory and environment in Tuscany. Although SMEs usually show a low level of perceptibility and knowledge in their biodiversity performance the analysis of this two case studies demonstrates a pro-active engagement in preserving natural capital and a high perception on the cultural and intangible values linked on the territory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
