Education for sustainability in early childhood can play a key role in enabling children to perceive themselves as active agents of change towards a more peaceful, equitable and inclusive society. This contribution attempts to give an account of some initial results of a research project that aims to bring to light the educational work on sustainability that the 0–6 childhood educational services of the Municipality of Milan have developed in recent years.
